Ruby in the Park

With the next Ruby Kaigi approaching, it's time to have another Tokyo Rubyist Meetup. This time, we're going to try something different and have the event in Yoyogi Park! As this event has always been about encouraging collaboration between Japanese and non-Japanese Rubyists, the carefree nature of Yoyogi Park suits it well.

This event will be a casual get-together, with no planned talks. Our focus will be on Ruby Kaigi, and how we can encourage more interaction between overseas attendees and Japanese. If we're lucky, we might even have some overseas attendees show up to the event.

We will set up in the center of the park, just beyond the central pond. Look for the glow of laptops and you should be able to find us. ;)

Please bring your own food and drinks to the event. Additionally, if you have something like a blue sheet to sit on, please bring it as well.

Yoyogi Park officially closes at 20:00, but it seems the gate stays open, and plenty of people are still in the park after that, so we'll stay until 22:00 unless we get kicked out earlier.

In the event of rain, the event will be cancelled.
