When the development team at MediWeb, a medical cloud services startup, faced some tough growth-related technical challenges, they turned to an “Enterprise” approach. In particular, they implemented a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and a Data Warehouse (DWH), with great success. These lesser-known concepts are worth sharing across the Startup vs. Enterprise divide as they could benefit anyone facing the same challenges.
Yves-Eric Martin is the CTO at MediWeb, a leading provider of medical cloud solutions with a mission to improve healthcare services through cutting-edge ICT.
A veteran with over 15 years of experience in agile development, many of which as an independent consultant, Yves-Eric worked with very diverse teams, technologies and industries, acquiring an extensive experience in the field. In his current role, he is responsible for developing the technology vision of the company, overseeing its engineering practices and guiding its architectural initiatives.
Yves-Eric holds an Engineering M.S from the Ecole Superieure d’Electricite and a Computer Science M.S. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
