A Japanese Rubyist Abroad

Thu, 17 Nov 2011 19:30 - 22:00

Cerego Japan (new location!)

For the next event, we'll have our usual casual networking along with a presentation by ujihisa describing his experiences as a Japanese developer living abroad.

ujihisa (@ujm) works as a developer for Hoot Suite in Vancouver, Canada. In 2009, he gave a presentation at RubyConf entitled Hacking Parse.y. He'll also be hosting a Vim Conference on November 17th.

Cerego Japan has been a big help in agreeing to host this event at the last minute. It will be held in their new office, so please note the updated address if you've visited them before.

19:30 Doors Open
20:00 Presentation
20:30 Open Conversation
22:00 Close

Drinks plus a light meal will be provided. Please note this event has limited space, so it will be prepay only. If you really want to come, but aren't able to use PayPal, please email me at
